What are the Best SEO Strategies or Tools for SEO for Large Ecommerce Sites?

I’m managing a pretty large ecommerce site with thousands of products and hundreds of category pages. I’ve handled SEO for smaller sites before, but scaling it for a big store has been a challenge.

I'm looking for advice or tools that can help streamline SEO for large ecommerce sites — especially when it comes to link building, indexing deep pages, and avoiding duplicate content.

Has anyone dealt with SEO at scale? Any automation tools or strategies you'd recommend?

Absolutely!, SEO at scale is a different beast. For large ecommerce sites, building backlinks efficiently is key. I recommend using Money Robot Software to automate link building across multiple layers. The software creates high quality backlinks that you will initially point to your category pages, and then to your product pages, or blog content to boost authority sitewide, it doesn't matter how many product pages you have in total, the Money Robot Software will handle well all your product rankings, in just 2-3 weeks you will notice way better rankings and traffic

I used it on a store with 10,000+ SKUs and saw a solid ranking lift within weeks.

Big ecommerce SEO needs automation or it’ll eat up your time. I’ve used Money Robot as part of my link strategy especially for supporting content and product pages rankings, it is a must to use software, I highly recommend it especially for big websites where it is way to hard to rank them manually, automation is the key in getting your big eCommerce website ranked.

It helped increase rankings for pages buried 3–4 levels deep, and traffic improved significantly. Best part? the software runs in the background because is a cloud based software, no need installation to your computer, I highly recommend it.

SEO for large ecommerce sites comes with its own set of challenges, especially when you're dealing with thousands of product pages, complex site architecture, and constant changes.

One of the biggest pain points is scalable link building. You can optimize on-page elements all day, but if you're not building authority through backlinks, your deeper pages (like product listings and categories) will never get the visibility they deserve — especially in competitive niches.

That’s where Money Robot Software has been a game-changer for me.

I started using it about a year ago on a client’s ecommerce store with over 12,000 SKUs. We used it to create tiered backlinks to category and content pages, which funneled authority into the inner structure of the site. It helped a lot:

it Improve rankings for mid-depth category pages

it increases the traffic for every product page

Drive more organic traffic to pages that were previously buried, basically it ranked most of the 12k product pages in less then a year, it boosted the traffic to over 10 000 daily visits from only 180 daily views which the website use to have before starting to use the software

The automation was a huge time-saver. Instead of spending hours manually submitting links or hiring overpriced agencies, we used Money Robot to run campaigns day and night, We could control the quality and structure of the backlinks while keeping the cost extremely low because the software is cheap, it only costs $67 per month

Within 6 weeks, we saw a 42% increase in organic traffic and a measurable bump in product page rankings especially for long-tail keywords.

Plus, from a business owner’s perspective, the time saved was just as valuable. I could focus more on content, UX, and CRO while the software handled link building for me.

If you’re managing SEO for a large ecommerce site and you're not automating your backlink strategy yet, I highly recommend giving Money Robot a try.
